Typography!

Epic amounts of cutting and sticking went down yesterday! I've been keeping busy by experimenting with a small range of cards focusing on text!

Work in progress... hand cut & hand stitched.

Some CAD experiments...

The gift of Christmas

I came across this Tigerprint competition recently and decided to give it a go! It was a little weird thinking about Christmas in July (quite scary actually) but I gave it a go and really enjoyed it! See what you think...

Some initial research...

I knew I wanted to play on words with my deer repeat before I even started. I decided to hand stitch the words to make the overall design a little different.

I chose the subtle colour palette as I wanted to move away from the tradition red and green. I was aiming to create something both modern and fresh.

Male Pattern Competition!

Stepping out of my comfort zone with some triangle love!

Now I have completed my degree :'( sad times!... I have plenty of time on my hands to be random and creative. I decided to challenge myself with some simple repeats for the Tigerprint Male Pattern Competition...

With this collection I wanted to take the most simple of shapes collaborated with a vibrant colour palette to create something both stylish and modern. I have taken inspiration from various high end Menswear 2012 collections such as Ted Baker and Paul smith.
